Sentences
Write it in Serbian
You are not teachers, you are students.
negated 'to be' (plural you) + plural noun, then pronoun + 'to be' + plural noun
The sentence step, up close
The checking is smart. The standard is not.
You get a sentence in your language and write it in Serbian. The check reads every word, marks the one that broke and shows the rule behind it.
- 1
Every valid answer is accepted.
Word order, synonyms, a dropped pronoun: each sentence carries all of its accepted forms. This one takes 32.
- 2
Typos are forgiven, and flagged.
A slipped letter still counts as correct. A wrong ending never does; that is where the grammar lives.
- 3
Every miss lowers something specific.
A wrong form halves the level of that word or that rule, not of the whole sentence. Your weak spots come back sooner.

Questions about learning Serbian
Is Serbian hard for English speakers?
The sounds are the easy part: Serbian is written the way it is pronounced, one letter per sound. The work is in the endings. Nouns have seven cases and most verbs come in pairs, so the course spends its time on exactly that: one rule per lesson, with your own sentences as the test.
Guide →Latin or Cyrillic?
Serbian uses both. The course is in the Latin script, the one you meet most in everyday writing, from messages to menus, and you write your answers in Latin too.
Which levels can I take today?
Level A1 is published: 42 lessons. Every course is planned up to C1, and a level appears on this page the day it is published.
Do I need to know grammar terms?
No. Every rule is explained in plain English before you use it, and the glossary covers the few terms the explanations rely on.
Grammar glossary →Does it work offline?
Yes. A course is downloaded to the phone, so lessons, audio and pictures work without a connection.
How much is free?
The first 10 lessons, with everything in them, no card needed. After that, one subscription covers every course.
Start with one sentence.
Type it, get it wrong, understand why. That is the whole method.
