How a lesson works

The sentence step, up close
The checking is smart. The standard is not.
You get a sentence in your language and write it in Serbian. The check reads every word, marks the one that broke and shows the rule behind it.

Every valid answer is accepted.
Word order, synonyms, a dropped pronoun: each sentence carries all of its accepted forms. This one takes 32.

Typos are forgiven, and flagged.
A slipped letter still counts as correct. A wrong ending never does; that is where the grammar lives.

Every miss lowers something specific.
A wrong form halves the level of that word or that rule, not of the whole sentence. Your weak spots come back sooner.
Everything decays
Strong words disappear. Weak ones keep coming back until they don't.
Every word, every form and every rule has a level from 1 to 10. A correct answer when it is due moves it up one, and the gap before the next time grows from ten minutes to two weeks, then keeps doubling. A miss halves the level. Nothing is ever wiped.

Feathers
A slip is not a mistake. Prove it.
Finish a lesson step and you earn a feather. When a level is about to halve over something you are sure you knew, spend one to keep it.
- A step pays once, ever. Repeating it pays nothing, so feathers cannot be farmed.
- One feather shields one answer: every word and rule that answer touched keeps its level.
- The item still comes back soon. A feather protects the level, not the schedule.

Why it is built this way
I have been learning languages for most of my life, and every app I tried stopped at recognition: years of tapping tiles, and still not one message written from scratch.
I needed Serbian, nothing serious existed, so I built the course I wanted: one that makes you write and tells you exactly what went wrong. It is hard on purpose.

Questions
Does it work offline?
Yes. Lessons, pictures and audio are downloaded to your phone as you reach them, and a lesson that is on the phone works with no connection.
What if I come back after two weeks?
Nothing is deleted or reset for being away. Everything that came due is waiting, you work through it at your own pace, and a level only ever drops when you answer wrong.
How long does one lesson take?
As long as your mistakes make it. A lesson is one rule, about 25 words, 25 sentences to write, a text and a dialogue. The repetition step depends on what is due.
What happens after the free lessons?
Everything you learned stays. You can keep repeating those rules and words for free, for as long as you like. New lessons and new words need a subscription. The 10 free lessons count per account, in any mix of courses.
Which languages next?
Serbian today. More pairs are being written. This page lists exactly what is published, never more. Over time, the plan is every European language. Which one comes next is partly up to you: the next-language form counts toward the choice.
